Can I use PythonWin instead of the Vizard GUI?
Yes. First, you must download the necessary Python software. If you haven’t already downloaded these software packages, you must do as described in the Download section. Once you have downloaded these installations programs, run the Python core installer (from www.python.org) first and then the Pythonwin installer (from www.activestate.com) second. After Python is installed on your system, you must manually change one Python setting in order for Python to recognize Vizard properly. To do this, follow these instructions carefully. From the Start menu launch Python 2.0 / Pythonwin and add the following to the PythonPath/Pythonwin path using the Pythonwin’s “Edit Python Path” tool under the Tools directory. Double-click on Default to make the ‘Enter new value’ – window pop up.
