Can I use PRO600 to collect seamlines for mosaic production in SOCET SET?
Yes. PRO600 v4.1 and above includes a small utility called MOSAIC that exports design file shape elements representing the seamline polygons to a format that can be readily imported to a SOCET SET feature database. The seamline polygons must be tagged to indicate with which photograph they are associated. This is done using standard MicroStation tag data capabilities, for which LH Systems supplies the appropriate design seed files and tag libraries. Both primitive and complex shape elements may be used. The full procedure is described in detail in Chapter 12 of the PROCART User’s Guide.
