Can I use previously created keyboard maps with MacBLAST Professional?
The current version of the MacBLAST Utilities creates keyboard maps in a slightly different way in order to take advantage of the new format for Softkeys. You should create new keyboard maps for MacBLAST Professional using the current version of the MacBLAST Utilities rather than putting old maps into MacBLAST Professional. • Does MacBLAST Professional still use keyboard shortcuts and Softkeys? The keyboard shortcuts have been improved; you should look closely at the menu for changes in, and additions to, the shortcuts. Softkeys have also been made easier to use. • Is there a special installation procedure for MacBLAST Professional? Simply drag the MacBLAST folder from the original floppy diskette onto your hard drive. The first time that you launch MacBLAST Professional you will need to enter the serial number printed on the package and the diskette label.
