Can I use play sand inside of the crabitat?
Some people say that it is too risky, but others say to go for it! Personally, we don’t think that play sand should be used in your crab’s crabitat. You can buy special crab sand or coconut fiber that will be guarunteed to be safe for your crab. Although you can buy play sand in larger amounts, the special crab substrate will help your crab live longer and healthier, and be safe.
