Can I use PCguard if Norton Internet Security or McAfee VirusScan installed on my computer?
If you have any of the following security packages, we strongly recommend that you disable the Anti-Virus application before you install PCguard, as running two Anti-Virus packages may cause your computer to slow down or crash: McAfee Suite 7.0 Symantec [Norton] Security Suite 2004 Symantec [Norton] Security Suite 2005 Symantec [Norton] Internet Security Suite 2005, AntiSpyware edition Trend Micro 2005 v12 ZoneAlarm Security Suite 5.5 For information on uninstalling or disabling Anti-Virus software, you should refer to the help screens in your existing security package. If these packages have a Firewall, they may ask you if you want to allow RPS.exe or PCguard to connect to the Internet. RPS is Radialpoint Security Services, who provide the software that runs PCguard. For PCguard to run properly, you need to allow RPS.exe or PCguard to communicate with the Internet.
