Can i use paint blocks on salt dough ornament?
I’m not sure what kind of color “blocks” you’re talking about…are they just like watercolors in cakes (dried, pressed form) that you’d rub a wet brush onto? As for paints that you can use on dried salt dough, you can use almost any colorant you want. Most watercolors are quite pale though (and transparent) but some are more concentrated (those are usually in tubes though). They’re also not permanent colorants, but you’ll have to seal your air-dry clay anyway to keep moisture and bugs from being a problem later. You could do a two for one, and paint with acrylic paints since those are waterproof as long as the coverage is complete (maybe two coats). Or use any other kind of permanent paint. If you use a non-permanent paint like watercolors or tempera (poster paint), you’ll need to coat those well with a clear sealer as mentioned..the cheapest of those would be permanent white glue like Elmers GlueAll (not Elmers Washable School Glue) thinned down with water about 3 or 4 to one (at lea
