Can I use one can of infant formula that isnt my usual?
I wouldn’t switch formulas. I’m sure you already know this, but swapping and changing formulas regularly isn’t a good idea. It can cause digestive problems, and give your baby a belly ache. It can also cause constipation (more likely with a formula that is thickened to reduce spit up) or diarrhoea. Also, if Similac Advance is a formula that is based on cow’s milk, I do not think it would be a good idea to switch to a formula that is based on soy milk. The chemical composition would be very different Also, you’ve mentioned that the sample bland you have been given is for babies that spit up and are fussy (reflux babies). The formula in that can will be a LOT thicker than the formula you are currently using. You may have to buy new teats in order for your baby to be able to get this formula out at a fast enough pace. My daughter is also on an anti-reflux formula (Karicare) and when I went to buy it, my pharamcist said that it is ‘horrible, gross stuff’, and many babies do not like it. Th
