Can i use Nike Air Max 2009 trainers for walking only?

While the Nike Air Max 2009’s fall into the “running shoe” category, they aren’t really much of a running shoe. They are well cushioned and very comfortable for everyday wear and would probably be very good as a walking shoe. However, you will probably never see dedicated runners wearing them for workouts. This is not because running is somehow better than walking, but rather, the construction that gives the Nike Air Max 2009 its cushioning makes it very thick and bulky (not conducive to running) and they are not well suited to the type and points of impact that come with a lot of running. Again, this isn’t to say that there is something wrong with the shoe or that doing some jogging will hurt you or the shoes – just that most people who do a lot of miles will prefer something pretty different. In my opinion, these would make wonderful walking shoes for almost anyone. If this was helpful, I’d appreciate it if you marked this answer as a good one. Thanks!
