Can I use my Phonebox 2 with a USB broadband modem?
If you have a USB broadband modem then you will need to plug your Phonebox 2 into your PC’s Ethernet port (so you will need to leave your PC switched on in order to make your phone calls) and you will need to share your PC internet connection by following the instructions below. 1. Click on Start / Settings / Network and Dial-up Connections. 2. Select the local area network (LAN) connection that you want to share (that’s the one that connects to the Internet). 3. Click the Sharing tab, tick the box “Enable Internet Connection Sharing for this Connection” and click Ok. Then you can start making calls!
