Can I use my own clearcoat over Outrageous Basecoat Effects?
You can do what ever you want, however we do not recommend this for several very important reasons: Outrageous clearcoat is a blend of the best quality resins with special UV additives designed to protect our unique pigments from fading and also to chemically link with our base resin to form one tough chip resistant finish. NOTE: Adhesion failure may occur if product from different manufacturers is used with an Outrageous application process and could invalidate any warranty offered.
