Can I use my existing StarLab dome for fulldome digital projection?
You can but the old StarLab domes were never designed for this. As such they tend to be more reflective than is ideal and their surface is very crinkly. So it is a matter of cost (existing) versus final image quality. There are a number of inflatable dome suppliers who now have products much more suited to digital fulldome projection.
