Probably – in strong reception areas. If you know you are in a fringe area or have a noisy picture now, you may not be able to receive some or all of the new digital services. The best quality reception however will always be obtained by means of an external aerial, correctly aligned to your local transmitter. In most cases, a reasonable picture on the existing aerial is a fair guide to successful reception of digital.
