Can I use my current phone number with Ringio?
Yes. A few ways to accomplish this: For numbers your customers call to get hold of the company: • If you have a toll free number with a telecom company, get a local phone number from Ringio and instruct your phone company to forward the toll-free number to your new Ringio local number. • If you have a toll-free number with a hosted service, get a local phone number from Ringio. Then, log in to the service and set up a transfer option to your new Ringio local number. • If you have a local number or if you have a toll-free number but would rather end your relationship with the existing provider, you can “port” or “resporg” the number to Ringio. We help customers with the porting of phone numbers once they have a paying account. Simply let us know through the Ringio Support Center. For direct numbers to employees: • If it’s a cell phone – you can set unconditional call forwarding from the cell phone to a Ringio number.
