This can be used only on your current address and cannot be exempt if it is your rental property. The bill must be current and itemized with the garbage charge on it. Household items such as furniture, brush, and appliances (excluding refrigerators and freezers) can be disposed of using the utility customer exempt policy. Commercial accounts are excluded from the utility exempt policy. All loads must be covered and/or secured to prevent the blowing of materials from the vehicle. City of Lubbock residents that meet the criteria of the policy are limited to 12 free loads per year and must be hauling from their homes in automobiles, pickups, or single/dual axle trailers only.
