Yes,you can use your Cell Phone even if you are on another continent without having long distance charges. But you need to unlock your phone from Network lock to use with a local SIM Network card.

You can unlock it easily by using unlock code.To get this code at low cost visit the site Prounlocking.com here you need to specify the Model name,IMEI number of  your phone,Country,Network provider to which it is locked. Then they deliver the unlock code to you through E-mail.Using that code you can unlock your phone easily. After unlocking from Network lock, you can use freely any GSM network SIM card in any Continent. This is the permanent unlocking method.

You might. I have ATT&T as well and I went to Canada which is just another country that I thought had ATT. But as soon as I hit the border, my phone said ROGERS… I don’t know who this Rogers is, but they took place of att when I got to canada. But I did text my frieds instead of call, because I found out it was like a 25cents a text or something lame instead of a pricy cell phone bill.
