Can i use my bank of ireland card in salou?
I used my Halifax card there – the main tobacco shop takes it with no problem but if you are using it to take cash out it will cost you a few pounds/euros extra- beware of the african and asian people selling cheap perfume and watches at the promenade in the evening and be careful of the african guys selling ‘happy pills’ be careful late at night around the area outside the Los Angela’s hotel where there is a row of pubs/clubs on till 4am and the hill from the beach up to the Rovers Return Pub as it is known as the gay area but the Rovers Return is a great place to go and for families – If you are a teenager you will love Salou but the more mature person will find it a bit wild and full of asian, african and moroccan people and very few spaniards. The average drink is 5eu and burgers and chips 6eu – take lots of money with you.
