Can I use multiple phones with Clustel communication?
Yes, there are a number of ways to use multiple phones with Clustel communication. 1. Multiple jack connectors: For phones in the same room, we recommend the use of a standard telephone line splitter. Use the type that is on the end of a phone wire instead of the type designed to plug into a wall jack as the latter may interfere with the Clustel communication adaptor’s power cord. We do not recommend connecting more than two phones in this manner. 2. Expandable cordless phone: For phones in multiple rooms, we recommend the use of a multi-handset cordless phone system. Connect the base unit of the phone system into the Phone 1 port on the Clustel communication adapter. 3. Wireless phone jack – Another multi-room option is a wireless phone jack system. These consist of a transmitter that you plug into the Clustel communication adapter, and receivers that are placed throughout the home wherever there is a standard power outlet.
