Can I use motor oil or cooking oil on my skateboard bearings to make them perform better?

These skateboard bearings are perfectly manufactured. Do not use motor oil or cooking oil on it  as they dirt the bearing. Instead of using them use environmentally friendly cleaners that are  suitable for dissolving oil, grease and removing dirt from the steel, plastic and rubber surfaces.

Motor Oil and Vegetable Oil are way too thick and will allow dirt, and sand to stick and get into your wheel bearings. Don’t use either one. If you can’t get some actual brand of Skateboard lubricant, I would tell you to get a can of spray Silicone lubricant from Home Depot or Lowes (Or any hardware store for that matter) About $4 for a big spray can.The Silicone will actually penetrate into the bearings and seal out moisture and dirt from getting into them. Dirt and grime won’t stick to the Silicone like it would on the motor oil or vegetable oil……
