Yes, DEVONthink Professional works with databases stored in packages instead of a special location in your Library folder. You can double-click these packages like regular files to open the database, copy them over the local network (LAN) or back up hard drive, or burn them to a CD-R or DVD. Note: You will not be able to use more than one database concurrently with the first version of DEVONthink Professional.
