Can I use microwave safe plastic bowls for preparing dishes in microwave oven?
If the bowl is microwave safe, you can use it for cooking. If you do not know if the bowl is microwave safe or not look on the bottom to see if it tells you. If not, empty and dry the bowl in question and put it in the microwave for a brief period and watch what happens. If sparks appear or you hear unusual noises, it probably isn’t microwave safe and you should cancel microwaving the bowl and remove it from the microwave.
