Yes. MailMonitor for SMTP should be set to listen on port 25 on the computer that it is installed on. You also need to set it to forward mail to the SMTP server by inputting the IP address and port number of the SMTP server during installation, or by editing the configuration file and restarting MailMonitor. As MailMonitor will have a different IP address from the SMTP server, you will need to alter the MX record in the DNS so that mail is forwarded to MailMonitor, which will then forward it to the SMTP server.
