Can i use mail to check my hotmail account??
You can only use Mail to send and receive from Hotmail if you have a paid account ($20 per year in the US), unless your country specifically prohibits them from charging for that service, which some EU countries do forbid. Gmail is completely free, and depending what kind of account you want (POP or IMAP), the setup instructions are different (the port numbers are different). You can easily set it up by following the instructions at Gmail’s help page: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13275 That’s for a POP account, since you really don’t need an IMAP account unless you need to access your mail from multiple computers. It’s very easy.
