Can I use Liquid Nail for gluing hardwood flooring?

I install flooring and to be honest have no reason to believe it wouldn’t.As the previous poster said they do make glue for hardwood but it is pretty expensive.Being that it is only 50 sq ft I say go for it.Just be sure you leave some weight on it for a day or so. Out of curiosity if you do use it would love to know how it worked.
