Anywhere i have read about lavender oil it advises to be very cautious when using it if pregnant or nursing but doesn’t give the reasons why, i wouldn’t use it until you have asked advice from your midwife or GP to be on the safe side. Yes, lavender oil is one of the oils that are 100% safe to use during pregnancy. I used to have baths with the oil in and also use in a burner. In the later stages I used it in a foot spa(not recommended in early pregnancy) but only for a short time. In labour, I had a lavender bath and after the birth I used lavender oil and tea tree oil in the bath. All the best. Oh yes and if you can, get some carrier oil and mix the lavender with it-great to have a nice relaxing massage with. Edit-Do not use the oil neat, always dillute it during pregnancy.
