Can I use Latisse on both upper and lower lashes?

Latisse is FDA approved for use on the upper lashes, due to blinking of eyes  the distribution of the solution provided  to the lower lashes.

Applying Latisse to the lower lashes is not recommeded as there is too much risk of corneal damage/abrasion and infection that can occur during the application process.  Applying Latisse  to the upper lash application does help the lower lashes and minimizes risks of side effects.

In short, no. A clinical trial of LATISSE® was conducted on patients who applied the product to the base of their upper lashes only. Please do not intentionally apply in your eye or to the lower lashes. There is the potential for hair growth to occur in areas where LATISSE® solution comes in repeated contact with the skin surface. It is important to apply LATISSE® only to the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes using the accompanying sterile applicators, and to carefully blot any excess LATISSE® from the eyelid margin to avoid it running onto the cheek or other skin areas. But wait – Patients have reported – that even though they don’t apply Latisse to their lower lashes – are finding that, in some cases, the lower lashes are growing too. Most likely, when your eyes are closed while sleeping, your lower lashes are getting the benefits anyway!
