Can I use Labview or some other terminal to control the Alphastep Plus or EMP series controllers?
Yes, you can as long as the communication specification meets the requirement of the products. AS PLUS —————– EMP —————- You will have to have your terminal output TTY / ASCII text strings into our serial port, and use exactly the same commands as what’s shown in the manuals. A common issue with this integration is the lack of carriage return after every command.
