Can I use just spring water or tap water to make colloidal silver?

A. No. Only distilled, real reverse osmosis purified, de-ionized or rain water will work. Using your TDS meter, you can check the level of mineralization. If it is over 2 ppm, don’t use it except in an emergency. If the water you use has more than 2ppm, the minerals will increase conductivity and produce larger particles. We do not encourage using salt to speed the process for that reason. You want to use colloidal silver with 5-10ppm for the smallest particles and the most ions for the best results.
