Can I use just fring without a Skype account?

If you use only fring without a Skype account or any other supported account, you will only be able to call other fring users. To be able to call regular phone numbers, you need to have a Skypeout account or an account with a SIP provider. If you are a Skype user but don’t have a Skypeout account, you will still be able to make free calls to other Skype users on their PCs.
