Can I use Hydronic Heating with Underfloor or In-Slab heating?
A. Hydronic in-slab heating must be run at temperatures under 50 degrees Celsius. Domestic hot water in combination with Hydronic heating must be run at a minimum of 60 degrees ruling out in-slab as a possibility on a combined system. In-Slab hydronic heating is difficult to control and has very slow responsiveness. It can take several hours for the slab to heat up and cool down and it is very difficult to zone off rooms to required temperatures. Q. Can I place Hydronic Radiators under windows? A. Yes, Hydronic Radiators are traditionally placed under windows to counteract heat loss and minimise wall space. Custom size radiators alleviate space restrictions giving you a wide scope on panel sizing meaning you have full choice on where to position panels. Even distribution of radiators throughout larger rooms is essential in radiating the heat evenly.
