Can I use HotOffice on an existing network with a firewall?
Yes, but a proxy server or firewall that has not been reconfigured can limit some HotOffice functionality, such as web-based installation, document publishing, and email attachments. Since a proxy server or firewall is designed to block outside access to a network, including access to your HotOffice, your company’s system administrator must grant HotOffice access through its firewall by opening the passageway.
