Can I use Google® Sketchup® files with VISSIM?
Yes. There are two options: • V3DM (optional module) can import Google® Sketchup® files and export them as V3D files for use with VISSIM. • VISSIM from version 5.20 can import Sketchup® files as static 3D objects directly. For vehicle models, the Sketchup® files need to be converted with V3DM in order to use them with VISSIM.(Sketchup® is a 3D modelling tool provided by Google®. Google® also provides a large internet library of Sketchup® models incl. buildings and landmarks.
