Yes, you can use Flix to create video for CD-ROM applications. However, there are certain issues that you should consider. Because of the way Flash works, when you have a SWF on CD, the Flash player loads the entire file into memory before it starts to play. Depending on your computer’s CPU, RAM, CD player speed, etc., performance will vary. We suggest creating SWF files no larger than 25MB for use on a CD-ROM. If you want to have larger files, we suggest breaking them up and loading one after the previous one is finished and unloaded. There are several programs available that will create projector files for both PC and Mac (including Macromedia Flash).
