Can I use Firenock with a weight tube?
When one is installing a Firenock in an arrow that contains a weight tube, one must cut some off a portion of the weight tube to make room for the Firenock. Even if the weight tube is cut perfectly, there may still be some room for the weight tube to move. When one hits the target, the forward motion and impact may cause the weight tube to move backward and forward. This hammer-like action may damage the circuit board. With the current series of Firenocks except the “S” style, it is not recommended that you use a Firenock in any arrow shaft utilizes a weight tube. This is because in the”S” style there is an accessory called the Extreme Shock Battery End Cap (FNLN64) which act a protector for the circuit from the violent motion of the weight tube when hitting the target. For any other other style of Firenocks, if a higher arrow weight is what onedesirs, experimenting with an arrow which has a higher grain weight per inch is recommended.
