Can i use firefox on virgin media broadband?

Hello, (ANS) Mozilla Firefox version 3.01. should work on any broadband internet connection any where in the world. Unless Virgin Media has introduced something very special or specific to their network that their NOT telling anybody about. **In the past some companies or ISP’s used to hack or edit a version of Microsoft’s web browser Internet explorer so that it would only work with their own proprietary software. A classic example of that was AOL who produced a hacked version of IE that would work with their own AOL suite. It was a right pain too but its gone now as far as I understand.

Yes you can its not the Broadband which restricts the browser usage it the Operating system, if your using Windows XP or higher your system will allow it but if your using Apple Mac or something different to windows then you will have to use a different broswer thats compatible with the operating system Hope this helps James

Firefox, Opera, anything – I use an odd little browser called “OffbyOne”, to check sites that I have reason to believe are unsafe.

YES! Virgin media only supplies the broadband, it’s up to you what you put on your computer.
