Can i use fiberglass resin on carbon fiber fabric?

Short answer No and I wouldn’t use vinylester either. Epoxy and a high quality epoxy at that, such as an ampreg 320, vaccum bagged and baked at about 50oC for a day. If you are going to the expense of using Carbon fiber why cut corners and quality by using an inferior resin. Carbon composite construction are high in costs because of the work load and the qualities of the materials involved. Try SP Systems on www.gurit.com It is where I source all my boatbuilding materials from. Good luck with it.
