Other types of communications to your doctor involve complex issues of security, reliability, accountability, billing, oversight, record keeping and management, particularly on your doctor’s end, that need to be addressed before opening up the EveryMD system to these kinds of communications. For urgent medical needs and medical consultations, the best way to communicate with your doctor is still by telephone or by going directly to your doctor’s office or to a hospital or other urgent care facility.
