Can I use eBLVD behind a firewall or proxy?
In almost all cases, yes. When you start a session, eBLVD attempts to connect to our servers over TCP/IP. In rare instances, firewall configurations will disallow the transmission of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) packets. This will prevent any machine behind this type of firewall from viewing an eBLVD session. We’re constantly improving our ability to connect immediately and reliably through firewalls and HTTP proxy servers, so if you encounter a problem connecting with your network configuration, please see our firewall and security documentation in our document library.
