Can i use distillation to separate two liquids?
If the two liquids have significantly different boiling points, you can heat them both to a temperature between those two points at a constant pressure and the liquid with the lower boiling point will evaporate, while the liquid with the higher boiling point will remain liquid. You can then recover the vapor from the first liquid and recondense it at a cooler temperature into another container.
