Can I use database tools to backup or copy single systems from MCOD database?

When residing in the same database different SAP components are defined with different database schema and their tables do not share the same tablespaces. Consequently backups of individual DB2 tablespaces and indexes can be taken and used for SAP system recovery purposes. Note that each component can be separately recovered to current time (end of logs).
