Yes, you can do it, using virtualization software and Clusterpoint Virtual DBMS system. It is a complete software package, which can be run on any Windows Server or Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows7 computer if VMware server virtualization software if installed. If there is no virtualization software installed, the Clusterpoint VDBMS can be run into a VMware Player environment from VMware acting as a virtual database appliance. Custom configuration for Clusterpoint VDBMS is created for each solution, depending on business needs (memory, disk space, clustering setup) and delivered to customer as necessary.
