Can I use canvas covers as car covers or boat covers?
Standard finish canvas tarps are not recommended for car covers or boat covers standard finish canvas cover’s wax and dye may rub off and stain car or boat’s surface. Premium finish natural white canvas cover can be used as car or boat covers. However, the best car or boat covers are made from nylon or other marine grade fabrics. • Can I use canvas covers indoors? Canvas tarps of not recommended for indoors use because a canvas tarp’s wax and dye may rub off and stain indoor surfaces, such as carpet, wood floor, etc. For indoor covers, consider poly covers, poly tarps, vinyl covers, vinyl tarps, untreated canvas, premium finish natural white canvas, nylon tarps or neoprene covers. • Can I use canvas tarps as truck tarps? No. Canvas tarps does not have high tear resistance. When trucks are driving on highway at over 65 miles per hour, wind can put hundreds of pounds force on the tarp.
