Can I use CalFile if my last name changed in 2009?
Yes. However, if your last name changed in 2009, please enter the last name you used to file your 2008 tax return to access CalFile and update the Name and Address page in CalFile with your new last name. If you have never filed a California tax return, please have your California Driver’s License or California ID number available and call our Taxpayer Services Center for assistance.
