Can I use Azuras Star to make Black Soul gems?
Playing Oblivion? You can’t use that artefact, no. You can only use Greater Soul gems that you have filled yourself – they’ll have a money value of 300+, so you can tell. It doesn’t matter if they’re filled with tiny souls either. It’s a good way to change stolen / wasted grand gems into valuable, NPC capturing Grand gems. You can only do it on that night (whichever yours is) and with Gems you’ve filled yourself – you cannot use the artefact. DO NOT EVER SELL AZURA’S STAR! It’s too good to lose. When you do the quest where you have to give up a Daedric item – choose something you never, ever have used… I gave the Ring of Namira, since it’s so low level… Or the Mace of Molag Bal.
