Can I use AOL as my ISP (Internet Service Provider) for Centra sessions?
No. Currently we have had little success with AOL as an internet provider for Centra sessions. AOL uses port filtering on their servers which prevents Centra and many other network applications from running properly. Most ISPs dont have this problem, but you need to attend the live Centra test event before the beginning of the semester to verify that your ISP will work properly with Centra.
