Hi yes you can use any t-mobile sim card in sidekick 2 only if it is unlocked one ..Else if the sidekick 2 is locked to network other than t-mobile then until you unlock your phone you can’t use it with t-mobile sim ..You can fix this using sites like WickedUnlock.com here they render unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost …After unlocking your sidekick mobile you can freely use it with t-mobile sim card …

you would have to get a new sim card and switch to the sidekick plan in order to get all the sidekick features, otherwise it wont work, it would work as your old cell phone did with the same prepaid plan as your old phone.
