Can I use any kind of flocculents, liquid or powder?
A. Only use JOLLY GEL flocculent. It is the only proven product that will not interfere with the ion exchange capability of the grain. Remember that each grain of Zeoclere 30 has microscopic pores and it is these pores, along with the overall structure of Zeoclere 30, that carry out the filtering and ammonium removal. Some older methods of floccing will blind the bed reducing it’s ammonia collection function.
