Can I use any CAT5 cabling to connect EtherSound Devices?

NEXO strongly recommends the use of properly shielded CAT5e (or CAT6) cables. UTP (unshielded cable) is NOT suitable. FTP (Foil cable) may be used in moderation but not for long distances (unless properly protected by a good shield). Refer to the user manual for further details.
