When using a POP compatible mail program (or client), you’ll generally need to enter the following information, usually in the Preferences or Settings of the program (this will vary depending on the program you’re using): * Your personal identity information. This is what is “stamped” on any messages you send from this POP mail program. 1. Your name (use your real name, eg: Josephine R. Doe) 2. Your email (use your LearnLink address, eg: jdoe@learnlink.emory.edu) * The FirstClass server info. This is how the POP mail program connects to check & send your mail 3. POP server: POP3.learnlink.emory.edu 4. SMTP server: SMTP.service.emory.edu 5.
