Can I use an Xbox Live Starter Kit 12 month subscription code on the Xbox 360?
Yes, the subscription codes found in the 12 month Live Starter Kits for the original Xbox do work on the Xbox 360 – plenty of members on these very forums will testify to that. The 12 month code definitely works as per any 360-branded subscription code. It’s possible to find old starter kits in the shops or on eBay at a fairly cheap price because the game included (FIFA 2005, Project Gotham Racing 2, Rallisport Challenge 2 etc) is an older game, likely with a sequel by now. The value to most people now is not the game which is available for less on its own but the 12 month code to be found therein which is up to 50% cheaper than a credit card subscription. Note that these starter kits are increasingly rare and if buying second hand, check that the silver film over the code has not been scratched off and the code used.
