Theoretically, yes, XFRAME allows the access to such RDBMS. Of course, to replace DB2 you must be aware of all its features you used and check if and how to replicate them on MySQL. Surely powerful commercial databases such as Oracle or SQL Server have the capability to provide features similar to those provided by DB2. OpenSource databases cannot grant such condition.
